Easy build a 3D modern design interior furniture using Photoshop

Step by step tutorial about how to create your own interior furniture and put it into the best light. You can use it for different home design presentation. Cool!


   

   
  We gonna start up setting the canvas size:
  Will make now the background. Using this gradient:

    and you`ll get:

  Now, let`s make the couch. Press U or select Rounded Rectangle Tool () with a radius of 10 px and make this shape:



Then we need to come up with this shape. How you gonna do it?

Make the selection the same as the first shape (using the Rounded Rectangle Tool, set the radius on 10 px)

and then Edit > Transform Path > Scale and holding Ctrl



We need the same shape but in the mirror and will get:

  Now we should add some gradients here:
and you`ll have at this point:



Using Rounded Rectangle Tool () and setting the radius on 55px let`s make the 4th shape here:



and using this gradient:





and the result:

  Next, we have to create the arms and the seats:

Arms:

Using the Rounded Rectangle Tool () with a radius of 55px





Seats:
Using the Rounded Rectangle Tool () with a radius of 55 px, we gonna draw the seats now:




Pressing Ctrl+Click make a selection of this shape and set the gradient as shown below:



duplicate this shape twice and you`ll get:



and using the Rounded Rectangle Tool () with a radius of 10px we should draw the bottom of the couch:






the result is:

  Let`s add a the ceiling and a floor:
    Ceiling:

On the top of the image make a selection as much as you want the height of the ceiling and color the selection with #ABC9BD:



underneath make a selection of 3px height and 1 px width and color each pixel with:

and then press Ctrl+T and holding Alt+Shift drag the seletion as shown below:



the result:

  The floor:
    Make a selection abobe the couch and color it with: #324242 then let`s simulate the floor:

make a selection color it with #808780 and make it look like:

  Let`s add the shelf, some books and the light:
    Shelf:

Make a selection above the couch:




and then add a white line at the top of this gradient. Select the Brush Tool (press B), set the diameter to 1 px, set the foreground color as White:



... the result:



Books:

Using Windows > Paths, create a new path:



select the Pen Tool and draw a shape of a book like this:

then and fill it with: #1f2d36.

All you have to do now is to rotate it (Edit > Transform > Rotate 90 CW) and duplicate it as much as you want:



Now let`s make those books more realistic. Create a circle as shown below:

, change the type of your marquee to rectangle and holding Alt key

Fill the selection with: #6c838a

... and the result will be:

  Let`s turn on the light:
    Create this shape:



How should you do it?

Simple: using the Rounded Rectangle Tool () set the radius on 10px and make a sqaure with rounded
corners. How you make a perfect sqare? Holding the Shift key.

then press Ctrl+T (Tranform Tool) and holding Alt+Shift in the same time rotate the
rounded square 45 degrees clockwise as shown below:



Make a selection by Ctrl+Click on this layer and then holding Alt key substract half of this selection:



holding this selection use this gradient:



the result now is (i added a thin black line to connect the light to the ceiling):

  One more step and i`m out of here. We should make the reflection of the light against the wall:
    For this last step i used the Path Tool to make my shape on the wall.

Make a New Path, select the Pen Tool and make something like this:


Make the selection and then using this gradient


you`ll get:
